Service Description

Parents and carers are invited to join Jo to discuss communication difficulties and how using Makaton can help overcome some of the challenges faced by those who are non-speaking. This informal session will provide an opportunity to meet other parents and carers of children with communication difficulties, find out more about Makaton and how it can help support your child’s communication. Jo will demonstrate some everyday signs and symbols and share examples of how to use them in daily activities at home, in play etc.
